Details API Playground
The Details API provides access to POI (Points of Interest) metadata, boundary details, addresses and places. It provides developers with a streamlined solution for incorporating comprehensive location data into their applications, enhancing user experience with more detailed and context-aware mapping information.
To make a request to the Details API, you need to have the mapbox_id for a point of interest. You can get a mapbox_id in results from the Search Box or Geocoding APIs. The playground below includes a search box to help you populate the mapbox_id parameter. Search for a restaurant, business, attraction, or other point of interest and adjust the parameters. You can inspect the request URL and the JSON data returned by the Details API.
