Statistics and usage

Your Statistics page displays analytics information about APIs and Mapbox products used by your account. To access the Statistics page, log into your account and navigate to account.mapbox.com/statistics.

Filter usage data

There are two ways to filter you Mapbox usage data on your Statistics page:

  • By date: Choose a standard period (week, month, or year) or choose a custom date range. The Statistics page populates your usage data within 2-3 hours, but may take up to 6 hours. All statistics are in UTC (aka Greenwich Mean Time).
  • By access token: See usage for all access tokens or one specific access token. Monthly active user statistics are not available when filtering by access token. To see monthly active user statistics, filter by All tokens and connected apps.

Browse by product

Your account usage is organized by product on your Statistics page. For each product, you'll see the number of requests, sessions, elements, or users for the token and time period selected depending on the unit of measurement for that product. You'll also see a breakdown of referrers for each product.

You will only see the statistics for the products you’ve used within the time period you specified and using the token you specified. For more detailed explanations of how your application translates to usage, see Pricing by products.

Domains

For each of the Mapbox APIs you’ve used within the specified period, you can see information on the referring URLs (websites using your maps), map IDs, countries, and browsers from which the requests originated.

Other or Not set referring URLs are referrers from GL JS maps that our statistics engine is having trouble processing. Upgrading to the latest version of GL JS will reduce instances of referrers that cannot be parsed.

CSV Export

We don't yet support an export feature on the Statistics page but would love to hear your feature requests around a CSV download option - contact us to share your use case.

If you see inconsistencies between usage on your Statistics page and charges on your monthly Invoice, see Analyze statistics and invoices. If the inconsistencies you are seeing are not explained in that guide, please contact support.
