Mapbox Transit v2
This tileset reference document includes information to help you use the data in the Mapbox Transit v2 tileset.
Overview
Mapbox Transit is a Mapbox-provided vector tileset includes transit-related features. It can be used to complement the Mapbox Streets v8 tileset with data specific to Japan.
Data sources & updates
This tileset includes data only for Japan. It uses data from Zenrin and is updated with each new Zenrin data release, approximately every 3 months.
Data stability
As we make ongoing data updates to reflect changes in the world, we may also add new layers, fields, and values to the mapbox.transit-v2
tileset. While backward compatibility is not guaranteed between versions, it will be a top priority as we integrate additional data.
Layer Reference
transit_line
The transit line layer contains metro and other train routes of a geography, with information specific to creating a transit map style. This is different from railway features that appear in the road
