Places
Full detail for one or more places — hours, phone, website, photos,
address, coordinates, activity data — by the mapbox_ids a Search Box API
result already returned, from the
Places API. The command also
takes the common flags — --username/-u, --token/-t, --profile,
--id — described in Shared parameters.
This API has no search of its own. It only resolves IDs that
mapbox search forward, reverse, or category
already returned: the detail view that follows a search result, not a way
to find places by name or location.
mapbox places
One or more full place records, as {"results": [...]} with one entry per
ID that resolved. The command always sends a batch request, so one ID and
many give the same response shape.
The Places API is in public preview, with a quota of 1,000 records per account per month.
If only some IDs resolve, the command still succeeds and the response
lists the rest under missing and/or unprocessed. If none resolve, it
exits non-zero and prints the unresolved IDs to stderr.
